Hi again,
So The Smittens have had a pretty busy autumn and we apologize for the lack of posts. Three out of five Smittens were married in September and after that we took a little break. As of late though we’ve been working on a cover of the Tullycraft song “Sweet” for the upcoming tribute album being put out by Lee Grutman (AAJ Records & VivaIndieRock.com) and Jimmy Hughes (Elf Power & Bumblebear Records). We were so excited when Sean from Tullycraft asked us to contribute and have had a lot fun making our version of the song. I will update again when it’s out so check back. Another good reason to check back with our blog is we may have a surprise for you folks in the next few months, courtesy of Happy Happy Birthday to Me Records.
The Smittens plan to stay in hiding until the Spring to write and record new songs with a few shows here and there. One of which is next Friday the 20th at Bloc 11 in Somerville,MA. We’d love to see you if you’re in the area.
Lastly The Smittens have decided we need more dance parties! I mean really can you ever have enough? A new dance night is in the works called You! Me! Dancing! We hope to get a proper venue soon but for the meantime David and I will be hosting at our house the first night tomorrow Friday 13th!
